Frank Jones was the second son of Lonnie and Helen Jones, and was born in Gadsden, Alabama on November 17, 1951.   
In 1956, the family moved to Guntersville, where Frank attended school and graduated from Marshall County High School in 1969.  He attended Snead State Community College in Boaz, then received his Bachelor of Music Education from Samford University in Birmingham in 1974.   He then received his Master of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1977.
He is married to the former Margaret Rice of Albertville, Alabama.   They make their home in Hoover Alabama, and are members of Hunter Street Baptist Church, where Frank serves as a  bio-vocational member of the Worship Arts Team.
During his ministry, he has served churches in Alabama and Texas, the most recent at the Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa where he served as Associate Minister of Worship /  Minister to 55+ Adults from 2003 to 2011.
Frank has served a pianist for the Alabama Singing Men, a group of minister of music (and other staff positions) from Alabama Baptist churches since 1983.  Since 2001, he has been conference pianist for the national Jubilee Conferences in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Frank is standing pianist for the yearly Alabama Baptist State Convention and also the Alabama Baptist Evangelism Conference.   He has led worship and played piano for numerous events through Lifeway Christian Resources at Ridgecrest, Glorieta, Boston, Williamsburg VA, and has led music for retreats at Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center in Talladega, Alabama and other state conference centers.
Frank Jones Ministries was incorporated in 2007 and is a ministry focused on worship and enrichment events.   It has been a full time ministry since January 1, 2012.  During that time, Frank has appeared in over 400 churches/venues across the Southeast.
Frank has recorded eight solo CDs since 2005.   He also has a collection of hymns for congregational worship called "One Mighty Voice", and a supplement CD called "One Mighty Voice - Songs for the Advent Season" with 17 familiar Christmas carols to use for congregational/personal worship.
